Who Wins Aquafina Elite Model Look Nigeria?



Elegance and glamour will be showcased on the runway on Saturday September 6, in Lagos, as Aquafina Elite Model Look Nigeria contestants strut their stuff at the cavernous Eko Hotel events centre. The prestigious international modelling event will see contestants filing out exhibiting designs from 10 top fashion companies within and outside Nigeria.



After weeks of rigorous drills and style tutelage at the boot camp, the 20 male and female finalists will seek to win the Aquafina EMLN 2014 diadem with mouth-watering cash prize of $5,000 (five thousand Dollars). The winners in the male and female categories will represent Nigeria alongside 80 other countries at the global contest in China and stand the chance of winning $150,000 (One hundred and fifty thousand U.S Dollars).



The contestants took time off to  visit the  corporate headquarters of Seven-Up Bottling Company Ijora  and  Ikeja bottling plant  were received by the staff and management led by the  Managing Director Mr. Sunil Sawhney who charged them to seize the opportunity provided by the Aquafina Elite Model contest to aspire to be one of the top models in the world. Mr. Sawhney noted that Seven Up Bottling company has been giving young Nigerians platforms to realise their dream either in the Pepsi Football Academy which has produce world football stars such as Mikel Obi or the Harvard Business School MBA scholarship in which four Nigerians have been sponsored so far  benefited from the two year scholarship.







Since 2013, Aquafina table water, a brand from the makers of Pepsi has been sponsoring Elite Model Look Nigeria. This year’s edition has been exceptional as models from different parts of Nigeria participated massively with over 4,000 at the casting. The final is expected to be a night filled with entertainment and fun, as popular Nigerian music acts such as Banky W, Praiz and American based artiste, Gina, will serenade the show with hit songs.







Head of Marketing, Seven-Up Bottling Company Plc, Mr. Norden Thurston said: “Aquafina as an international brand is happy to be associated with Elite Model Look Nigeria. Neoma Anosike, an 18 year school leaver won last edition’s contest. This year’s edition has male category added to give equal opportunities to every aspiring young model not minding the sex.
